英文加減乘除怎麼說，數字當作主詞時，視為「單數」，算式中，加法與乘法用單複數動詞均可，減法與除法則多用單數動詞。
英文加法
Two and two is/are four=Two and two make/makes four. 二加二等於四。
如果「加」用plus則需使用單數動詞。→Two plus two is four.
Ten plus five is fifteen. 10加5等於15。10＋5=15
英文減法
Ten minus two leaves eight.十減二等於八。
Six minus four leaves two. 六減四等於二。
Twenty-five minus seven leaves eighteen. 二十五減七等於十八。25-7=18
英文乘法
Three times three is/are nine.= Three times three equals/equal nine. 三乘三等於九。3×3=9
乘法中的「乘」若用multiplied by ，則使用單數動詞。→Three multiplied by three equals nine.
Six times six is thirty-six. 六乘六等於三十六。6×6=36
英文除法怎麼說
Ten divided by five equals two. 十除以五等於二。10÷5=2
One hundred divided by ten is ten. 一百除以十等於十。100÷10=10
七是奇數 Seven is an odd number.
六是偶數Six is an even number.
