decide/beside/besides
以前時常比較besiede 與besides 這兩個字給學生，讓他們分辨這兩字意思的不同與用法，沒想到今天在講besides時，寫出beside他們沒有反應，原來是因為還沒有學過，還跟我說有學過decide當下我還真的沒有覺得decide跟他們兩個字有像阿，後來定眼一瞧，好吧~這對認字障礙的學生來說，肯定是一大苦差事。
先是來個bd不分，再來個s.c發音都s果然是有困難阿~~
decide 決定 動詞 to VR I decide to study English hard. (我決定努力讀英文)
beside 在…近旁;在旁邊 prep. . I sit beside Mary. (我坐在Mary旁邊)
besides adv.此外prep.除……之外(還有)
He had other people to take care of besides me.
除我之外,他還要照顧別人。
After work, I have to pick my child up. Besides, I have to cook dinner.
(下班後我必須接小孩，此外我還需要煮晚餐)
Beside的其餘用法:
beside oneself （因為激動、氣憤、高興等情緒而）忘形，失去控制
Tom was beside himself with joy when he finished the project..
（Tom 完成計畫時，欣喜若狂。）
He was beside himself with grief when his mother died
(當她母親過世時，他悲傷致極).
beside the point 不切正題,無關緊要
What you have said is quite beside the point .
